Obituary for Rose Ann Kulhawik (Principi)
Rose Ann Kulhawik, age 74, of Stratford, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2017. She was the wife of the late John Kulhawik and the daughter of the late Arnold and Margaret Principi. Born in Bridgeport on August 4, 1943, Rose Ann found the greatest joys in life while spending time with her family and friends. A dedicated and selfless wife, mother and grandmother, Rose Ann loved to cook, travel and go to the casino.
Rose Ann is survived by her children John Kulhawik and his wife Deborah of Monroe, Anthony Kulhawik of Naugatuck, Lisa Leonard and her husband Mark of Stratford, and Mark Kulhawik of Monroe; her four beloved grandchildren Michael Tjader, Justin Leonard, Sean Kulhawik, and Molly Leonard; her brother Arnold Principi and his wife Ellen of Trumbull; and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her brother Francis Principi and his wife Barbara.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to family friend Louis Keane, cousin Ethel Capinera and niece Debbie Principi for the countless hours of companionship and happiness they brought to her life; also to the nurses at St Vincent’s Medical Center and the staff of VITAS for the special care given to Rose Ann.
At Rose Ann’s request, no services will be held. The Commerce Hill Funeral Home, 4798 Main St. Bridgeport has been entrusted with the services.
